The idea of portable art is what birthed my clothing brand, Bossed Up. All things art meet fashion which has been the foundation of the showing of my work. Similar to the canvas, I highlight most black moguls on wearable fabrics. I sometimes combine portraiture with graphic arts as well. Creating spaces and experience through instillation and events, has been one tool in breaking art from its traditional presentation. My brand focuses on highlighting black artist of all kinds. It is of the norm for one to associate white collar positions with success however, art especially as a career is seldom seen in the same light. One main goal, is to assert those artist on the rise which are mostly coming up from underprivileged backgrounds; that through hard work, success can be attain through art. In saying that, the usage of those moguls and celebrities function as evidence of that affirmation. Additional Information
