Student Accounts Specialist
Feather River College, Quincy CA June 2020 – Present Review student account data for accuracy to generate and send invoices to students with outstanding balances on a monthly basis. Verify and maintain student accounts and post appropriate billing, payment and write off codes. Process disbursements and refunds in accordance with state/federal regulations, accreditation standards, and college policies and procedures to ensure proper processing of all external state/federal funds. Manage and process third party contracts using SIS/Banner. Coordinate all aspects of housing charges and fees with the housing manager, making appropriate account adjustments as required and maintaining the designated housing spreadsheet. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate with departments within the college to ensure accurate and accessible information and quality of service for our students and customers. Provide in-depth counseling and advising to families and students, which includes reviewing charges, clarifying delinquent balances, explaining financial obligations, and attempting to resolve any problematic circumstances there may be.

Mountain Kids Summer Camp, Quincy CA Summer 2019 Developed and coordinated Feather River College’s first ever children’s summer camp program that offered a STEAM based curriculum that allowed children to explore different areas of study and provided them with an understanding of how each subject is connected. Oversaw hiring and training of all camp staff. Worked with a team to promote the camp for enrollment. Created and maintained the overall camp budget for employee salaries, materials and supplies, the cost of camp tuition, meals, etc... Planned and directed daily activities. Established procedures for medical, legal and environmental emergencies in compliance with state, local and FRC District polices. Oversaw the purchasing of program materials and supplies; ensured the maintenance of the supplies and equipment inventory.
