My wife and I founded the orphanage when, during a trip to Haiti after the 2013 earthquake, we were introduced to a group of children who had been abandoned and abused. We decided it would be our calling to care for these children so we moved to Haiti and established All Things New.
My responsibilities as Executive Director include:
•Day to day management and operations of the orphanage.
•Fundraising at least $250,000 per year and managing the funds effectively.
•Recruiting and collaborating with a Board of Directors of 15 volunteers.
•Communicating with and cultivating donors and sponsors in a timely and effective manner.
•Establishing and monitoring educational and life plans for the 29 children we served.
•Managing 30 Haitian employees and one American employee in the day to day operations of the orphanage and the care of the children.

•Write product reviews, instructional articles, and a newsletter for a golf website.
•Create most content including working with leadership to decide which products need to be reviewed, what to include in the weekly newsletter, and how to communicate the material effectively.
•I also freelance write with a company called TextBroker where I write for different businesses who need freelance help.
•During my time with TextBroker, I was hired by a client to ghost write a book based on a sermon by a local pastor.
