Represent IU Health as a liaison between the company and the patients to ensure proper payer sources, funding for treatment and communication supporting these is in place. Duties that align with this include:

• Completing Prior Authorizations and Continued Stay Reviews with insurance

• Submitting daily discharge summaries to insurance to include appropriate documentation

• Accurate recordkeeping of approvals and denials, unused days, appeals and retroactive requests

• Conducting chart audits to ensure completion and accuracy of documentation

• Contacting payer sources to resolve authorization or other issues 2012 – 2018

MID AMERICA HEALTH, PREVMED DIVISION

Managed and grew the PrevMed Division of the company to include the addition of 3 additional services for a total of 4. This division offered portable, on-site audiology, optometry, podiatry, and dental services to nursing home residents in 5 states. This role included:

• Developing and implementing operations best practices and processes for services provided to patients

• Strategic planning for growth in new and existing footprint
