My experience in acute-critical care, primary care, women’s services, virtual care and nursing faculty stretches over 15 years. My current role as a telehealth nurse practitioner for major South Florida health systems have acclimated me to the broad landscape of innovative care through remote technologies and services. I am not only a double-board certified family nurse practitioner and hold national certification in emergency nursing, I received a doctorate degree in 2018.
I have been instrumental in training physicians and advanced practice providers on telehealth awareness along with the adoption and knowledge of best practices in virtual care. I’ve assisted in deploying virtual education sessions to scale throughout several sites of a non-profit, academic hospital setting as a full-time, tenured provider. Activities also include telehealth research and the grant writing process.
It has been a pleasure to serve the community in a variety of telehealth platforms. I am bilingual in Spanish and English. I look forward to discussing this job opportunity with you at your earliest availability.
Regards,
Vanessa Fuentes DNP, FNP-B.C., NP-C, CEN
