PERSONAL STATEMENT
My main achievement in life would be achieving my nursing degree, throughout the three years of the degree it’s has been a very challenging time especially working through a pandemic and completing assignments. I have many strengths such as good time keeping, good people skills, good communication skills, good team leader. Overall, I am a hardworking, caring, motivated individual who does their best to achieve goals. I am always willing to learn new skills and to undertake new training to enhance my skills, I implement the 6cs in practice, I know the importance to help individuals maintain their privacy and dignity, helping individuals to maintain a good quality of life.
I am currently working in the Emergency department at County hospital. I have learned many skills that I believe has set me up to deal with many difficult situations. Skills I have learnt venepuncture, cannulation, catheterisation, cleaning wounds and applying dressings. Also being able to identify a deteriorating patient. I am a fast efficient learner, I have good time keeping skills, I am polite, caring and a member of staff that can support a group and also work as a lone worker.
