Developed flow-through provisioning of Fiber in the Loop Plant, working with Bell South Operating Companies to design seamless coordination of activities across various software and hardware platforms, geographic locations, and communications technologies, which allowed for remote testing through long-haul transmission in optical fiber communication systems
Repositioned the Bell South joint development efforts to align with DSC Communications SONET based Fiber Optic Digital Loop Carrier System, (Lightspan 200), driving sales from the old Bell Operating companies in the USA towards the newly developed software, RIDES, Remote Intelligent Device Element System, and resulting in $500M+ in sales
Created the functional specifications for a low-cost loop optical carrier system for both the North American and European marketplaces that was standardized for use in major telephone companies worldwide
Generated product sales of $7.6M, with back-orders for an additional $8.9M over a 2-year period; managed the investment of 450 Operational Support Systems in 5 sites across California
