She received her Ph.D. in Public Health and Education, and her M.P.H. in Epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh and is certified in Health Outcomes Research by the Graduate School of Public Health at Harvard University. She has held major posts at Stanford University and Georgetown University Medical School, and is an authority in the fields of public health epidemiology, nutrition, health policy, healthcare curriculum development and training. Simin Saedi-Wong is a public health epidemiologist, nutritionist, public health program developer, a health policy and a community health/evidence-based research scientist and counselor, and a health information
