My experience as a Registered Nurse spans 37 years of which 30 years have been working as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. I graduated from University of South Florida as a Family Nurse Practitioner. After working as a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for several years, I became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, so that I could provide comprehensive care to all ages. I developed an interest in Oncology and became certified in that specialty as well.

In my Oncology Career, I have worked in the Infusion Center at Cassidy Cancer Center associated with Winter Haven Hospital and Moffitt Cancer Center taking care of oncology patients in the clinic setting and the Infusion Center. I have also worked in Hospice & Palliative Care specializing in pain and symptom management for adult & pediatric patients with life limiting illnesses. I have taken care of patients in acute care facilities, ALFs and Nursing Homes. In addition to those positions, I was involved in the initiation and development of a Pediatric Palliative Care program at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa, FL while employed at LifePath (now known as Chapters) Hospice. I have taken care of all ages from infancy to geriatrics providing wellness care, managing acute illnesses, chronic diseases, oncologic diseases and providing End-of-Life care.
