I was a teacher in the Tinton Falls School District for 26 years. Most of those years were spent teaching 4th grade. Now that I'm retired from teaching, I look forward to the next chapter in my life. Although teaching and working with dogs seem to have nothing in common, I see them both as jobs for a responsible, intelligent, and caring individual. Additionally, both jobs are perfect for someone who enjoys bringing happiness to both people and animals. Since I was a young girl, I've been passionate about dogs. I've been a dog owner my entire life, and during the past two summers, I was given the opportunity to walk dogs for a friend of mine. It was a great opportunity to see if it was something I would enjoy doing when I retired. I loved it! Last June, I retired from my teaching job and would love the opportunity to work with dogs.
