Dear Sir/Madam:

I am a passionate Mechanical Engineer, who has extensive experience working in the Automotive, Technological and Engineering fields. Throughout the course of my professional and educational careers, I have been able to further develop my automotive-technological skills in a variety of fast paced environments.

Currently as a Welding Supervisor at Hayward Gordon, I manage a team of 5 welders and oversee and/or perform several essential tasks, such as:

● Keeping track of monthly budgets

● Performing routine maintenance on equipment

● Organize and complete complex projects involving MIG, TIG and Stick welding

On a consistent basis, I ensure that my team is well equipped with the appropriate inventory/equipment, while adhering to the proper welding standards. Additionally, I supervise and coach junior welders to ensure they comply with the proper drawing and welding symbols, whilst practicing the proper housekeeping and health and safety regulations.

During my time at Berg Chilling Systems Inc., my daily duties included pipe fitting and welding, building of frames for chilling systems and maintaining plant equipment. While completing these tasks, I ensured that all projects were completed in a timely and efficient manner, as there were many tight deadlines to meet.

At Sheldon’s Engineering, I was a Quality Welder who was responsible for the completion of several tasks that involved MIG and TIG welding. Also, as a quality control technician, my job entailed die checking and reworking (as required) to ensure that all products were completed as per the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) specifications. I have extensive experience within the customer service, project management and automotive fields. My strong ability to understand and interpret blueprints efficiently and precisely, while working with ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys, proved to be extremely advantageous when completing demanding projects, within tight deadlines.

My resume is enclosed which provides further details related to my experiences and skills. I am currently available to meet for an interview at your convenience. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Satrohan Maharaj
