An experienced accountant with more than six years working experience in audit three of which have been spent in management. Currently pending Chartered Accountancy registration with Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe after having completed hours of clerkship with Deloitte in 2018 and final qualification examinations in December 2020.

• Managing Projects: This involves identifying the audit approach to be taken from an early stage and checking that adequate resources are identified that have the required skills, knowledge and experience to perform the work and tracking delivery of assigned tasks and guiding team members’ prioritization;

• Stakeholder Focus: Offer insightful views and recommendations to clients about a broad range of complex issues related to business processes and controls by leveraging a deep understanding of audit and risk advisory services and stakeholder needs. This also involves sitting in client Board Audit Committee meetings;

• Managing teams: Involve team members in the planning process and where required guide more junior members of the team in their prioritisation. This also involves collaborating effectively across functions as well as external specialists involved to deliver a seamless audit that is responsive to stakeholder needs;

• Coaching: Providing on the job learning giving meaningful feedback in a timely manner by providing knowledge to improve the efficiencies of the audit process and to address the risks associated with the assignment. This also includes providing appropriate guidance to the audit team in relation to the application of tools, guidance and methodology in delivering the audit;

• Formulating reasonable judgements and conclusions: This includes demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the relevant regulatory framework, IFRS and other IAS's when relevant as well as an advanced understanding of business cycles and operational internal controls;

• Budgets / Profitability: Manage engagement budget through accurate budgeting, cost control and profitability management. Includes preparation of project proposals for prospective clients and

• Development/Growth of trainees: Share expertise and knowledge with trainees who are not necessarily engagement team members and provide counselling on an ongoing basis.
