I developed customer service and supervisory skills in the early years of my retail career, as a department supervisor at Barnes & Noble. I was in real estate for nearly 20 years, further developing my interpersonal skills and gaining insight into property management. I currently manage several rental properties of my own. I have highly developed, self-taught computer skills and have done website programming on the side for several years. I am highly self-disciplined and have a lot of experience working from home and under my own supervision. I had major neck surgery in October, 2021. Floor & Decor was able to hold my position for four months, but I was not cleared for work at that time. I spent much of this time doing freelance web design and making DoorDash deliveries.
