Logistics Coordinator (Nov 2017 – Present)

Coordinate and expedite International shipments containing auto parts from Hungary and Japan to the United States automobile industries.

Expedite parts to Ford, GM and Chrysler using analytical reactive skills, eliminating the possibility of line shut down.

Through the use of SAP process ASN’s for shipments that have shipped out of the warehouse.

Work closely with the customer, warehouse and carrier’s to assure that capacity is available so that all orders ship out on time.

Manage future forecast to predict upcoming shipping requirements. Use the forecast to submit to management a Metrics report that show current inventory levels and shipping history.

Coordinate shipments and track freight that has moved by truck, rail, ocean and air from point of origin to the delivery destination.

Initiated BIDS then assigned loads to the most cost efficient carrier taking into account line haul, fuel and distance.

The liaison between supplier base and carriers communicating shipping instructions to assure the correct trailer was being dispatched and routed properly.
