Operations Supervisor
When I started with P-3 they only had 4 wells in Central Louisiana and 3 wells in Montana. My role was to manage safety and regulatory requirements, day to day operations with production volumes and expenses.
Currently they are now producing approximately 75 wells. Was instrumental in the handoff between HRM to P-3 on the Colorado acquisition.
Managed all wells that consisted of pumping units, plunger type applications and free flowing.
Built operating budgets for each year and tracked expenses month to month to show profit and lost statement for each month.
Make monthly field visits and inspections of well sites, conduct a facility audit with action items to correct any issues that may cause up any type of write up or citations.
Direct regular safety and operational meetings with the crews, in person and/or via conference calls.

Facilities and Production Operations Advisor
Assigned to a special project for Deep Gulf Energy on a sub-sea well drilled in 5,600’ to flow back to a Host facility operated by ENI Petroleum.
Anticipating 56,000 bbls of completion fluids of 14.6 zinc bromide on the flow-back. Developing a detailed strategy in order to accomplish this this task without having to shut in the well in on a 4,000 bbl/ per day rate.
Writing and reviewing all procedures associated with the flow-back, cradle to grave.
Wrote and reviewed the PSSR to ensure the procedures and P&ID’s all coincide with the proper start up pre-requisite.
Coordinated all efforts in conducting the leak test on all topsides equipment, pressures ranging from 13,500 psi down to 10 psi.
Was asked to assist in bringing on the Deep Gulf Energy well. The Kodiak well was brought on February 26, 2016. Bottom hole pressure was 19,100, surface pressure at the subsea tree was 11,600 and we flowed the well at or near the 12,000 bbls rate.

Production Operations Supervisor
Managed total operations for the Gulf of Mexico including 147 structures ranging from Main
Pass to Mustang Island.
Responsible for safety, regulatory / compliance, logistics, contract personnel, cost management and production.
Upon arriving at Black Elk, lead development of operating philosophies, policies, procedures
and all reporting aspects to include accounting, MMS, regulatory, budgets, crane maintenance strategy, rotating equipment PM program, dock and shore-based guidelines, daily cost tracking
for both boats and helicopters, monthly LOE /LOS statement reviews and daily EBITDA cost
tracking reports.
Performed due diligence on both the Meritech and Merit acquisitions.
Instrumental in developing the SEMS process into the organization through the conceptual development, training and implementation.

Managed total operations for the Western Gulf of Mexico including 35 structures ranging from
South Marsh Island to Galveston.
Responsible for safety, regulatory / compliance, logistics, contract personnel, cost management and production.
Upon arriving at Nippon, developed operating philosophies, policies and procedures and all
reporting aspects to include accounting, MMS, regulatory, etc. due to the company recently acquiring 52 platforms from Devon Energy.
Completed operating procedures, P&ID’s, electronic 14-C reporting, etc. for all platforms.
01/2006 – 10/2006 BP America – FPSO Plutonio England / Korea
Operations Supervisor
Primary responsibility was to ensure the topsides operations team would be ready to produce hydrocarbons when first oil target presented itself.
Supervised a team of expats that trained the Angolan team of delegates to one day be capable
of manning and operating the facility on their own.
Duties included review of operating procedures, P&ID’s, emergency response, integrity
management, safe operating strategy and equipment inventory management.
03/2002 – 12/2005 BP America – Thunderhorse Houston, TX
Topsides Operations
Instrumental in the development of ESMP (Equipment Specific Management Plan) for the maintenance strategy and the frequency of specific duties to be performed.
Involved in writing operating procedures for topsides operations with Baker.
Performed system checkout / process overview of the Honeywell system.
Worked with the DSI commissioning team for the handover from J. Ray McDermott to BP in
Morgan City. LA in relation to all associated equipment with topsides operations.
Integrated the hull and topsides modules at Kiewit’s yard in Ingleside, TX.
On the sail out crew supporting operations to ensure the marine and support equipment was fully functional for voyage.
Once on location at MC 778, I supported the marine team on anchoring the facility to the sea
floor.
Due to the postponement of first oil due to the platform listing, I left before platform came on line due to my next assignment overseas.
11/2000 – 03/2002 BP America – Na Kika New Orleans, LA
Operations Supervisor
Daily interaction with Shell Oil on platform development due to joint venture project.
Responsible for staffing, hazops, third party contract agreements, training development, development of operating procedures, total management of topsides operations personnel,
coordinated temporary living quarters for 140 POB, operations & subsea integration and
worked hand in hand with Supply Chain Management Team in Houston, TX in selecting all vendors.
Ensured host would be ready for first oil and all commissioning work was done in a
professional and efficient manner at Kiewit’s yard in Ingleside, TX.
12/1980 – 11/2000 Amoco / BP Amoco Various –
Eastern/Central Hubs
Various / Team Leader
Accepted position of roustabout in the WD 90 field upon hiring. After 3 months promoted to PO 11 in the SMI 50 field, after 5 years was promoted to PO 1 in the EC 222 field, moved around to several locations and after 10 years as an operator I was promoted to field foreman in the EC 222 field and stayed there for 5 years before being transferred to the EI 215 field. From EI I was then transferred to Eastern Hub Operations.
Worked in production operations in the OBU/GoM shelf in the SMI, EI, EC, WC and VB fields where I managed total operations. Responsible for the delivery of business results for the Offshore Business Unit for the Central Hub.
Moved back to Eastern Hub operations where I worked in the SS, WD, ST, Grand Bay and
EW fields where there I too managed total operations in those particular areas.
Worked directly with field supervisors, operations managers, asset managers, etc. to accomplish all business objectives – deliverables, safety, production, budget, direct operations management, business plan development, personnel management, project planning and execution.
Objectives included safety first and foremost, completed ISO 14001 certifications on EW 826, certified crane operations, Y2K readiness and managing the new OPEX process in all fields.
