Key Accomplishments:

Developed and approved US patent #9,850,599 for unique pile height distribution terry towel controlled by a uniquely mathematical equation.

Created a SharePoint based web-app that automates the technical/costing specification of new product developments in collaboration with an outsourced coder group from Romania. Took process from 2 weeks to 5 minutes, saving manpower and capturing 30+ years of technical weaving and preparation manufacturing experience in one place.

Initiated, managed, purchased and installed an Automatic vision-based inspection system in collaboration with Elbit Vision Systems Israel. Increased inspection speed by 1000%, saved $78,000 annually, ROI in second year, increased accuracy and consistency of inspection by 78% and potential added $82,000 savings for optimizing fabric cutting to reduce Grade B products.

Secured a global supplier and negotiated, purchased and installed a Sampling yarn preparing and weaving equipment for R&D cost-savings experiments. Project reduced load on continuous production machines and freed-up pipeline for innovative exploration of new opportunities and innovations.

Secured, negotiated, purchased and installed an Automatic over-head vacuum robot for ongoing maintenance of equipment. Increased machines overall efficiency, life cycle and reduced down time.

Universal Environmental Technologies, is an Israeli located patented company which supplies a unique green technology water treatments solutions.

Process and R&D Engineer

Designed, planned, erected and installed a unique water treatment system for the Medinol facility that manufactures sterile stents for heart operations, saved 15% of costs ($10,000/year), 100% of chemical reduction (2 tons/year)

Designed and planned, erected and installed a scale prevention water treatment for cooling systems for a large manufacturing complex of a world-renowned defense contractor. Saved 31% in waste water (75,000 M^3/year), 25% costs savings ($200,000 annually), 86% chemical use reduction (120 tons/year)

Initiated, designed and planned a new product for preventing bacterial contaminations for surgery rooms tap water, installing water disinfection systems for a network of medical centers with state-of-the-art operating theaters for specialist eye surgery.
