Worked on award winning product Pkgs, an Integrated Sale, Inventory, Purchase, A/c Receivable and A/c Payables system. "Pkgs" is part of the company's SHMA Financials suite, which consists GL, Fixed Asset, and Pay Roll. Took part in planning, Analysis, design and development of the system, which is totally parameterized and configurable. Hence it can be used in any company as the software is designed to meet the requirement of different companies. Conceived, designed and developed a Report Writer for the company's SHMA Financials suite. This gives more power to users to generate new reports with the flexibility of GUI based on the windows standards.

As a junior programmer, was involved in the screen designing of General Ledger system. Also took part in the testing phase of the project. This client/server system was developed in PowerBuilder 5.0 (later upgraded to PowerBuilder 7.0) and support Oracle, MS SQL Server and Sybase Adaptive Server databases. This software won first prize in professional category at All Pakistan software competition organized by Dr. A.Q Khan Research Laboratories Pakistan, held in 1999.

Started my career working on exciting project "Century Bug". Identification and rectification of Y2K problems in the ERP system of IKEA. Documented all the Y2K bugs in programs code and database tables. Modification of programs and production of new reports compliant with year 2000 date format.
