JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare documents of the complete project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered.
Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.
Reviewing quality of all materials at the site and ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality and collaborate with the department for all material procurement and maintain a quality of materials.
Supervising the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.
Monitor an efficient system and record for all project activities and analyze all processes to ensure all work according to quality requirements.
Manage all work methods and maintain knowledge on all quality assurance standards and monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes and recommend corrective actions for all Processes.

Reviewing of all project documents like codes, specifications, drawings, and procedures used for fabrications.
Conduct Welder’s Qualification Test (WQT).
Reviewing welding procedure qualification test (WPQT).
Preparation of welding procedure qualification report (WPQR).
Supervising and coordinating QA/QC works in relation to fabrication activities and resolving any complains raise by client regarding job quality requirements.
Checking welding operations and ensuring compliance with project’s specification/code requirements.
Check and ensure that welding consumables are those specified, that their certificates are valid, that they are stored according to manufacturer/clients' specification and company procedure.
Scheduled daily inspections of welding activities and associated material verification, identification and traceability requirements.
Preparation and submission of daily weld reports, fit-up reports, visual inspection reports and Nondestructive Testing Requests.
Liaising with client’s inspector to ensure adequate notification is given for “Hold Point” inspection and tests.
Monitoring and evaluating welder’s repair rates and where necessary, making reports of recommendation for improvements.
Check welder performance; check and record welding parameters and verify compliance with approved WPS
Performing fit-up and visual inspection of welds.
Review all NDT reports.
Closing out any NCR.

Ensures safe passage and delivery of certain goods by checking all materials upon arrival also make that freight is properly packaged and labelled or stored.
Examining goods for defects, storing merchandise, and keeping track of inbound and outbound materials
Maintaining detailed records specifying the shipment or receipt materials and required assembly adequate storage or shipment containers for particular type of materials.
Preparing in depth lists of goods or equipment that require repair then after repairs of replaced, checking is required to text the product for quality.
