1. My Roles &Responsibilities in IndianOil LNG Pvt. Ltd. as follows:
Assisting HSEF head in all HSEF activities.
Complying work permit system in the plant on the field level.
Training to all company/ contractor employees on different HSEF topics like Chemical Safety, Process Safety, Mechanical Safety, Electrical Safety, Vehicle safety, Work place safety, learning from Incidents, ERDM, Road Safety.
Preparing Pre-Incident Planning & Assessment for handling emergencies considering actual scenario due to process failure.
Maintaining Fire Safety system as per design basis requirements.
Maintaining Fire Safety system as per Legal (PNGRB, OISD, Factories Act & Rule, Electricity Act & Rule, Gas Cylinder Rule, NBC, Disaster management act, Major accidental hazardous rule, Indian Standards, NFPA, Environment Prevention and control of pollution act) requirements.
Leading Fire Safety team of 50 members and managing manpower (Shift scheduling, assign jobs and all).
Handling emergencies Control & Mitigate with use of available resources and arrange extra resources if required.
Ensure Inspection, Testing & Maintenance of all Fixed / Portable/ Mobile- Fire Safety Equipment/ System (Like- DV, AV, Hydrant, Fire Water Network, Fire Water pumps, Fire Alarm and Gas detection system, Fire Extinguishers, Safety shower, SCBA Set, Portable Fixed & Tower water cum foam monitors, Fire Tenders, Hose reels, Low & High Expansion foam, Rescue equipment.
New installation and modification of Fire fighting and Safety system.
Material management (procurement, maintenance, maintain min required material).
All Legal/ other documentation related to Fire Safety.
Preparation of Safe Operating Procedures, Safe Maintenance Procedures, Emergency Response Plan, on the basis on Hazard & Risk; Its training and implementation.
Plant audit, planning and executing Internal & External audit.
Participating in Mock drills & Plant Audits.
Maintaining all documents related to fire safety.
Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment of all Routine & Non routine Activity.
Conducting Safety Committee Meetings and follow up for observations with concerned team.
Incident Investigation& sharing Learning from Incident.
Learning and Implementing Process Safety System according to plant process.
Planning for certifications IMS (Quality Management System, Environment Management System, Occupational Safety & Health assessment system) for that preparing documentation and implementation of it.
Organizing SHE&F Promotional programs like Safety Week Celebration (04-10 March), Fire Service week celebration (14-20 April) Environment Day (05 June), Road Safety week.
Conducting Mock Drills.
Handling 50 nos. security manpower.
Looking for continuous monitoring of plant security.
Looking for monitoring of material in and out checking by security staff. 2. My Roles &Responsibilities in Reliance industries Ltd. as follows:
Emergency Response, Control & Mitigate with use of available resources. And arrange required Resources.
Plant familiarization and Pre-Incident Planning & Assessment activity with crew member & plant person.
Testing & Inspection of Fixed / Portable/ Mobile- Fire Fighting Equipment/ System to check healthiness of all these such as; -DV/AV/ Water Spray/Semi fixed Foam Pourer/ Balanced Foam Proportioner / Portable and Fixed water & Water cum foam monitor/ Fire Hydrant/ Extinguishers/ PPEs like SCBA Set/ Rescue equipment/ Fire Tenders like-Foam, Water, Rescue, ERV, MECC, Equipment, and Hydraulic Plate former.
Training to crew Members & Plant Personal; Emergency Handling on basis of type of Hazard& Emergency, Work place safety (TBT), Pre-Incident Planning & Assessment, Chemical Safety, Learning from Incidents & Near miss.
Participating in Mock drills & Plant Audits.
3. Apart from Reliance & IOLPL other Roles & Responsibilities in Bhilosa & Alok are as follows:
Testing, Inspection, Maintenance & new installation of Fire Hydrant system, First Aid hose reel, Non-Percolating Flexible Fire Fighting Delivery Hose, Branch Pipe Universal, Landing Valve, Fire Fighting Pumps, Fire Tender and its equipment's, Fire Extinguishers.
