April, 2021 – Till Now: QA/QC Inspection Engineer, ETHYDCO (The Egyptian Ethylene and Derivatives Company), EGYPT.

Petrochemical plant - Asset Integrity Department.

Performing technical asset integrity aspects through inspection, integrity and fitness for service techniques.

Perform failure analysis on corroded and failed components.

Monitor and follow up on corrosion monitoring data.

Internal and external inspection of static equipment, A/S Tanks, various columns, towers, boilers, heaters, S&T Exchangers, horizontal & vertical vessels, strainers and recommend repair and follow up/ box up.

Review and Approval of QA/QC documents such as Project Quality Plans / Quality Control Procedures /ITPs / WPS / PQRs / Material and Vendor Approvals / Final QC documents / RFPC certificates.

Preparing the shutdown activities as per schedule for all the static equipment’s by reviewing the inspection history, preparing their mechanical data sheet, applying the inspection test plan (ITP).

Leading the API inspection team, coordinate the inspection activities and following the inspection for various columns, towers, boilers, heaters, S&T Exchangers, horizontal & vertical vessels and strainers.

Interpretation for findings, analyses for failure, prepares report, issuing recommend repair, pressure testing if required till the box up.
