ORGANIZATION : Virtusa Consulting & Services Ltd.

PROJECT : Citi Business Online (CbuSol)

Client : Citi Bank, US.

Duration : September-2012 to till date.

Scope : CitiBusinesss online (CBusOL) application provides business banking solutions services to mid range businesses. Providing services like Wire Transfer, Balance Transfer, Batch Transfer, Stop check, Business Administration, Bill payment, ACH (Automated Clearing House) etc. Frontend is J2EE struts and Backend is DB2 & CICS, Siteminder, and Federated Security using SAML. CitiWires is a legacy application processes and support all the Incoming and outgoing wires for CitiBusinesss and Citibank online. All the Backend processing is done using Mainframe batch jobs.

CBusOL provides small and medium business clients with convenient, web-based access to those services. Business Online has sub applications NOLW and BABO.

National Online Wires (NOLW): This system is only accessible to the branch users for executing the wire transfers on behalf of the customers. Branch users can send wires in US dollars or in foreign currency and wire setup can be saved as model for future wires. Branch users can schedule wires for today, future date or on recurring basis. All the future or planned dates of the wires should be a business day.

Business Access Back Office (BABO) application:

The major functions of BABO are maintenance of business, account, user and entitlement administrations.

Responsibilities:

My main responsibilities are planning and execution of joint review, detailed work item wise tracking, review and approving test cases and test results,

conduct final inspection, technical design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of application. Work on modernization of legacy application to new technologies, migration of mainframe programs to micro service APIs.

PROJECT : Global Interest Allocation System( GIAS).

Client : Citi Bank, US.

Duration : August-2008 to August 2012

Scope: Global Interest Allocation System (GIAS) was designed to calculate daily interest to be allocated to the trading desks. Major functions of GIAS were to allocate financing cost to inventory traders in fixed income, equities (securities) and options, allocate financing cost for New York Salomon smith barney finance desk, generates daily finance feed to solar, provide interest information to ETPL for profit and loss reporting, monthly feed to GL and Race. GIAS system had capabilities that enable customers to view reports online, export reports to excel sheet and modify data based on business rules.

Responsibilities: My main responsibilities were technical design, conducting reviews, mentor team members, development of programs and DB2 stored procedures, testing, implementation, and maintenance of the application. Additional responsibilities included Estimation, Tasks Allocation.

PROJECT : Allied Irish Bank (AIB).

Client : AIB, Ireland

Duration : November-2007 to July-2008.

Module : Branch accounting.

Scope: Branch accounting system designed to maintain the source data, which was send by various online-applications, teller, enquiries, telebanking, ATM authorization, capital markets payment system etc. Application was designed to provide daily and periodic feeds to departments and external customers such as Inform, Data warehouse, financial control, Home mortgages, Staff business, Group tax and Revenue. Major functions of branch accounting were validation and application of all transactions and amendments processed in the branches throughout the day to customer accounts, validation of product rules, calculation of fees and interest, chequebooks and statements generation, revenue reporting etc.

Responsibilities: My main responsibilities were technical design, coding of programs, testing and implementation of changes. Additional responsibilities were co-ordinate system test/UAT for business changes.

PROJECT : IBM Global Account (IGA).

Module : Signings and Backlog

Scope: Signings and Backlog terms used to define the revenue that IBM expected to yield from customer commitments or contracts. They were key headlight metrics into the health of IBM’s revenue growth and reported as part of IBM’s routine quarterly earnings releases. The customer and IBM always sourced Signings from contracts. Projects were the specific work efforts that IBM engages to deliver on a contract. Backlog means the amount of revenue from signings that was not recognized in financial statements and reported externally.

Responsibilities: My main responsibilities were planning and execution of joint review, detailed work item wise tracking, review and approving test cases and test results, conducting final inspection, technical design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of application. Additional responsibilities were preparing quality related documents required by client/IBM and mentor team members.

Client : Telstra, Australia

Duration : March-2005 to May-2006.

Module : PMA.

Scope: Telstra was Australia’s leading telecommunications and information services company. Telstra offered a full range of services and was competent in all telecommunications market throughout Australia. Product Maintenance Application (PMA) was designed to provide capabilities:

Definition and maintenance of product and billing details of domestic and offshore goods and services those are of interest to Telstra.

Definition and maintenance of non-usage products rating details.

Copy management of product, billing and Rating data to over twenty external systems including FLEXCAB.

Responsibilities: My main responsibilities were creating technical specification documents, code new and modify existing programs and stored procedures, and create unit test cases and carrying out unit testing accordingly.

PROJECT (2)

Module : UPECS Reporting.

Scope: UPECS stands for Usage Processing Error Correction System, which was the place where all the call records that could not processed successfully by UPS were kept until either fixed or deleted from the system. UPECS Reporting application designed to use data from UPECS to generate the reports, which are used by business units to take an action on call records that were not processed.

Responsibilities: My main responsibilities were analyze of user queries and provide solution, code new and modify existing SAS programs and responsible for correcting any failed batch jobs.

ORGANIZATION : Lionbridge Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai.

PROJECT (1) : Unicare.

Client : W.G.S.1.3 Support System, Wellpoint

Duration : June-2004 to Feb-2005.

Module : Batch/Pams.

Scope: Unicare was one of the leading names in the insurance sectors in USA. Unicare module designed to provide medical and dental hospital services in USA. Unicare system had back-end and front-end systems for claim processing, Eligibility, Batch/Pams and Cash modules. In payment cycle claims were processed by process payment, release bulk payments, process mail count data, process non- bulk payment data, process bulk payment data, produce drafts and produce payment reports.

Responsibilities: My main responsibilities were system test support, code and Unit test programs, perform modular repeatable process and prepare PMM documents.
