• Within the first few months onboard, secured over $100,000 in Track I state funding to establish the first Overdose Fatality Review Team (OFRT) for Atlantic City. Established partnership with 14 local and county organizations to address the issues of mental health, substance abuse and overdose fatalities from needle sharing and illicit drug use.

• Secured over $400,000 in grant funding from the New Jersey Department of Health and the Centers for Disease and Prevention (CDC); strengthening local public health capacity to effectively respond to testing, contact tracing and vaccine requirements for vulnerable populations within the City of Atlantic City, NJ.

Other specific requirements as Director of Health and Human Services include but are not limited to:
