PLANT PROFILE:

It is a Coal based Power Plant of 60 MW total installed capacity having Single Drum, Natural Circulation, CFBC Boiler (Make: CVL, Trichy) having the capacity of 251 tph with Single Cylinder, Nozzle Governed, Axial Exhaust and Extracting Type condensing turbine (Turbine Make: SNM, Japan) Controlled with ABB DCS Systems, and Bently Neveda Vibration monitoring systems.

NATURE OF WORK:

Maximize the reliability of all plant equipments while minimize the cost by maintaining the power plant without power failure.

Operation of 60MW Coal based thermal power plant

Operation of 251tph CFBC boiler and Multistage Impulse Turbine.

Complete the specified tasks with in allocated time period.

Operation and maintenance of rotating equipments such as Pumps, Fans etc.,

Ability to carry out troubleshooting under emergency conditions and deciding upon the course of action for people and plant safety.

MAJOR EQUIPMENT HANDLED:

Boiler fuel feeding system, centrifugal pumps, Auxiliary cooling condenser, Cooling tower, ID Fan, FD Fan, PA Fan, SA Fan & Loop Seal Blower.

PREVIOS WORK EXPERIENCES:

1.Worked as Shift Incharge from May 2014 to October 2015 in Kamachi Sponge and Power Corporation Limited, Gummidipoondi which is Coal based IRCFBC boiler Capacity of 2x35MW.

2.Worked as Boiler DCS Engineer from July 2012 to April 2014 in THERMAX POWER O&M., PUNE.,(Site : Kamachi Sponge and Power Corporation limited, Gummidipoondi, Chennai.,) Which is Coal based IRCFBC boiler capacity of 2x35 MW.

3.Worked as Boiler DCS Operator in Operational Energy Group of India Pvt Ltd., Chennai (Site : IND BHARATH POWERGENCOM Ltd., Tuticorin ) from Feb 2011 to July 2012, which is a Coal based Power Plant of 3x63MW total installed capacities having Single Drum, Natural Circulation, CFBC Boilers with Single Cylinder, Nozzle Governed and Extracting Type condensing Turbines Controlled with SUPCON DCS Systems, and Bently Neveda Vibration monitoring systems.

4.Worked as Assistant Engineer (DCS Operation) in Desein O&M Private Limied, C/O, Keshav Power Pvt limited, Dalmiapuram, Trichy, from May 2009 to Feb 2011, Which is a 27 MW AFBC Power Plant. The plant is fully automated with Siemens DCS, Shin Nippon vibration monitoring system.

5.Worked as a Asst. Engineer in Operation Department in R.K.Power Gen (P) Ltd., Hiriyur, Karnataka from Oct 2006 to April 2009, which is a 25 MW Biomass Power Plant. The plant is completely automated with Distributed Control Systems – Eurotherm Suite & Turbine PLC – Siemens, Vibration Monitoring System -Bently Nevada& Electro Hydraulic Governor- Woodward 505.

Water tube, Single drum, Natural Circulation, Pinhole grate, Balanced Draught, Wood chips / Bagasse / Groundnut shells fired utility boiler capacity of 100tph, 106kg/cm2, 525 C.

Total heating surface area of boiler – 4675.5 m2 Volume – 6748.5 x 6748.5 m3

Make: G.B Engineering, Trichy. Design: Enmass Process & Technologies Ltd. Chennai.

Double Extraction cum Condensing Turbine capacity of 25MW.
