SKILLS

As a Junior Resident trainee, I have my experience in image processing and acquisition of various pathophysiological conditions that come under diagnosis of various etiologies ( both oncological and non oncological) Nuclear Medicine procedures.

I have my expertise to assess change in metabolism of various radiopharmaceuticals in a few brain function deterioration conditions ( like behaviour and dementia pattern). Here in the department we performed a few scans of cerebral blood perfusion although it is quite less in amount now.

As a trainee, I did get exposure to understand the molecular biology and pathology in various pathophysiological conditions in brain function that dampening cognitive changes.

As a part of the degree program, I got a chance to learn the basics of alcohol dependence and it's change in brain perfusion .

Lastly, I do have a basic understanding of localisation of radiopharmaceuticals ( peptides, amino acids) in brain parenchyma to assess the functional changes in various pathognomonic changes.
