Amita Health - Elk Grove Village/Hoffman Estates IL - Surgical scheduler for two vascular surgeons and one APN. Coordinate outlook calendars and communicate daily and weekly changes with OR and cath lab at multiple hospitals, coordinate pre-procedure testing (COVID, blood work, imaging, medical and cardiac clearance as needed), create prior authorization packets for OP and IP procedures, verify CPT codes, schedule imaging and various appointments with doctors as needed, communicate upcoming procedures with patients doctor's office, receive and respond to patients calling in with questions about various topics regarding appointments and procedures, verify procedures and imaging has been approved through insurance.
