I am in the business field since long time started in freight forwarding & supply chain from A to Z then project logistics with famous suppliers all over the world then import & export activities.

+ academic PhD qualification & supply chain management & worked as Branch director for one of the worldwide German freight forwarding company in Egypt over 15 years.

+ worked as a professor & supervisor of Master & Ph D of many Egyptian & Foreigners in Egypt German & China.

My hobby is Football as I was a football player in first degree in Egypt for more 8 years then a coach have the Olympic certificate as a football coach.

I had been jointed in the past to a German international transportation company called Rhenus International Transport GMBH.

I started with them in Egypt since 1987 as a sales representative then operation and sales manager then managing director then Branch manager of Egypt for more than15 Years.

I specialized in handling big projects from door to door with international branches and agents from Ex works until to be delivered to foundation or job site or stores of consignees.

I follow up shipments either by air – land or sea freight from A to Z that is means:

From first contact until issue our invoices even collect the money through our bank accounts.

Because of the bad situation of business in Egypt since revolution Jan.2011 and business had went down, I am trying to join a big company in my field activities in any place all over the world which can meet my experience. so since 1 year one of the big leading companies in Egypt in field of heavy and light trucks and spare parts hired me as a business management consultant and I am still working with them beside follow up my small company Saqqara international transport Services which had the FIATA and EIFFA licenses.

I had only changed the company name from Sphinx Egypt LTD to Saqqara int. transport services to get FIATA and EEIFA licences.

All the other activities were still the same to 2011 start of revolution in Egypt.

Through the last 2 years from 2011 to 2013 the business of our industry freight forwarding and project logistics - import and Export had went down to the bottom.

I kept the company still in the market with the little shipments and hired somebody to follow up it.

from 2011 to 2013 I had been hired and jointed to a big company in Egypt as a Business management consultant in Zaki Group Co.

which is a multinational company has Branches in Germany - Dubai - Shanghai.

This company specialized in Car - Truck - Mini truck - Bus - Mini Bus import.

up from 2014 returned back to my company trying to support it and still till today in it pushing but still business too low.

For this reason I appreciate to get suitable opportunity from any international freight forwarding company to join it in any branch any country all over the world.

2000 - 2009

Chairman (Managing director of the company in Egypt). At Sphinx Egypt LTD. (almost 10 years)

after transferred the previous company to my name I became the owner of the company in Egypt and transferred its name to Egyptian name ( Sphinx Egypt LTD Co. )

concentrated on import and Export customers who had regular shipments door to door services all over the world & succeeded to reach around 100 Tues per month up from 2002 to 2009.

We added Import and Export activities and dealer with new commodities such as marble and Granite to China and Rice shipments to Russia.

1993 - 1999

became the country branch manager added to my responsibilities all administration of Egypt office - follow up bank accounts of in & out due invoices - Lead team of sales and operation = customs clearance and subcontractors in Egypt.

Reporting to member of the Board in Head office in Frankfurt and make representation yearly for our office in Egypt.

Project logistics:-

Handled some of the biggest projects in Egypt from A to Z which means:

-Follow up planning of these turn key projects for all kinds of shipments from all over the world to be shipped and arrived in due time.

-Follow up all instructions of customs house for the customs duties, sales tax and any other requested charges such as clearance and THC.

-Re-packing for export shipments for repair and return to Egypt.

-Follow up from door to door services for heavy lefts & oversized cargo to job site including:

Supervision of handling it by gantry cranes & transport it low bed trucks until to be delivered to foundation.

-Release most of the project cargo by direct delivery system to avoid any expenses for our clients such as storage, guards & demurrages.

I am checking Bs/L and re-check it according to our shipping declaration to avoid any mistakes it to let our clients satisfied to get their money from banks. If their shipments by L/C or cash against documents.

-Claims and insurance:

I follow up any claims from our clients with the shipping lines or storage warehouses or transport companies in order to control the job well.

-Updating shipping lines:

Updating shipping lines Freight rates and THC of transport companies’ rates to follow up the market to avoid losing our clients moreover to get more clients month per month.

-Sales leads:

Follow up sales leads very carefully and pass information and reports to Boards to follow up business In our field activities of international transport and project logistics door to door services.

-Inquiries if international agents abroad:

1-Follow up any inquiries or sales lead of international agents abroad in Europe, USA, Gulf and Far East.

2-International land transport from Egypt to Arab companies such as Jordan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Lebanon.
