customer service skills, having honed them in a 30 year restaurant career in fine dining and family restaurants.

Currently working with the Patient Access Department, on a per diem basis. I work approximately 8 hours per
week, although I often pick up shifts whenever they become available.
High Peaks Bean & Bakery Coffee Cart co-owner May 2011 - August 2018
I was a co-owner of a very successful, small coffee cart business which I ran for 7 years. It is a mobile bakery
and coffee cart. I sell baked goods and coffee to campers in the Fish Creek Park. It requires licensing, health
certification, as well as marketing and packaging of items. This is a self designed, self run business. It
requires much thought, planning, and customer service.

Elementary, Middle & High School Computer Skills Teacher September 1993 - Present
I have been a Computer Skills teacher in the Saranac Lake Central School District for the past 25 years.
Currently I am teaching grades K-5 computer skills at both Bloomingdale and Petrova Elementary schools. I
have taken on many roles, teaching, Acting Principal, School-to-Work Coordinator, Class Advisor, Yearbook
Advisor and Cross Country Coach. I have sat on many committees and shared decision making groups. I have
always worked a part-time job as well as teaching, and have always held at least one extra-curricular or
coaching position; however, most years I held 2-3 extra positions.
Restaurant Owner - Dakota’s Cafe & Grill, Lake Placid, NY July 1995-December 1998
Operated an 80 seat restaurant serving lunch and dinner 7 days a week with my husband for three years. I
learned a great deal about customer service during this time. I also coordinated schedules and managed up to
20 employees at a time.

Adaptive Art Teacher September 1989 - June 1990, Traveled to all districts within the
Franklin-Essex-Hamilton BOCES, including the former Camelot boys home for wayward boys. The job was
a temp position, but was offered to me if I agreed to seek Art Certification. I declined.
