BARRICK ENERGY PARTNERSHIP (04-2008 to 07-2013)

SENIOR JOINT VENTURE ACCOUNTANT: Processed joint venture billings, acted as joint venture audit contact. Assisted in the initial EPAP audit for Barrick and worked with GCA Consultant to prepare GCA calculations. Worked with Operations Department to resolve audit and vendor billing issues.

Joint Venture Accountant: Aided in the clearing of several accounts receivable due to and due by Hunt Oil and their partners. Using Qbyte FM.

JOINT VENTURE MANAGEMENT INC. (01-2004 to 11-2005) contract position

Auditor and Joint Venture Accountant: Prepared several Schedule A’s for upcoming audits for our clients, and aided in the resolution of several outstanding audits for one of our clients. This included joint venture invoice review for credits in addition to direct contact with the responding company.

Audit Co-ordinator and Joint Venture Representative on SAP (Version 4.6) system conversion.

As part of the Renaissance team taught several in-house courses related joint venture accounting using the SAP module. In addition, acted as liaison between the SAP conversion team and Jiblink Accounting Module. Located Joint Venture agreements for McMahon Pipeline which resulted in additional revenue of $20K to $40K/month net to Marathon.

Accountant: Accounts receivable reconciliation, capital accounting, JV billing and invoicing review using PW Sequel. Recovered $285K on unbilled capital equipment (compressor) on sold property.

METRONET COMMUNICATIONS (1999) contract position

Accountant: Adapted Excel spreadsheet to aid in customer account reconciliation. Recommended course of action to resolve clients concerns and to fulfill specific company invoicing needs and requirements.

UNION PACIFIC RESOURCES (1998) contract position

Accountant: Account receivable reconciliation, capital accounting, JV billing and A.F.E. preparations for Taber Area.

Divestment Accountant-Property Divestment: Reviewed JV Billings to Prepared Interim and Final Statement of Accounting Adjustments for various property dispositions. Utilized J.D. Edwards System (V. 7.3) to ensure all charges for property dispositions were billed correctly to the purchasers.

($120 k/month) and recorded revenues ($150 k/month) within the J.D. Edwards System (V.4.0).

Aided in reconciliation of general ledger accounts including the gas take or pay account ($300K recovered). Provided production data worksheet for Taber Field Office to aid in cost estimation program
