Professional Experience

Stackpole International Ancaster

Automation and Robotics Engineering CO-OP Student May 2021 – April 2022

• Troubleshooting and Programming on Omron, Allen-Bradly and Siemens PLC, PLC, and HMI programming on Sysmec Studio, and Cx programmer.

• Experienced with Building Electric Panel

• Setting up Digi-Force device and CLICO gun to know force and distance

• iR Vision System configuration on FANUC Robots

• Configuration of IX Keyence Camera vision using IX Navigator

• Configuration of EtherCAT device

• Troubleshooting FESTO device, FANUC and Omron Robots, Sensors, and Electrical control panel.

• Experienced and work under Laser safety engineer to print barcode using Marking Builder.

• Experienced with SolidWorks for 3D drawing of assembling automation Line.

• Can operate, troubleshoot, and configure AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot)

• Worked on detailed documentation using control plan to prepare information of all station PROJECTS

Air Blow Off Fixture – PLC Programming

• Experienced with PLC programming, Electrical, and Mechanical

• Building panel, programming fixture, configuration of pneumatic and sensors and safety device

• I have programmed this station using Sysmec Studio on Omron PLC as it contains barcode reader that scans the barcode of car pump and it update into database once it is updated the Festo cylinders lock the pumps and check the vanes.

• Moreover, if vanes are found it blows the air by activating reed switch of cylinder to blow the air, for this I have used ladder logic and function block to complete this whole programming.

• EtherCat, FRL unit and Light curtains are used for safety purpose

• Working Demo

Vane Ring detection – Keyence Camera

• IX camera configuration

• Setting up of ix camera to detects the vane ring in pumps, camera detects the ring from pump and if any pump is missing then it fails the pump to move towards next station. I have configured different types of tools like height of base and ring if it matches the trash hold then it will allow.

• I have added position compositions through ix Navigator so if pump is in any different position as compared to set up position, then it will allow to pass if it contains vanes. Lasers – Barcode Printing

• Worked under supervision of professional engineer to create the barcode and print on the Ford and GM car engine pumps.

• Through Marking Builder, I have created barcode and it fires on pumps using lasers and those barcodes are used to update its status on database of company

• Lasers outputs are connected to PLC so, all the commands are operated by PLC’s Key Technologies: PLC – Omron (Sysmec Studio), Vision, EtherCAT, Festo cylinders, Fanuc robots, Sensors, Lasers, SolidWorks, AMR’s, Excel

Certification

• Fanuc Level 1 and Level 2

• Lockout Tagout

• Worker health and safety certificates by Canadian Government. Projects

Robotics Cube and Vision System

• Robotic arm was program at Fanuc Lab.

• It checks through vision system

• Arm was picking letter A and letter B from one plate and place to another plate on its position.

• Vision Demo and Robotic Cube Demo

HMI – Automatic car washing System.

• Rs Logix5000 was used for programming purpose.

• FactoryTalk View Me was used to operate the whole PLC program through HMI.

• It was design in actual graphical content.

• Working Demo

Handling Automation system

• Programed robotics handling system with TiaPortal using PLC programming.

• Sensors were used to detects colors of cylindric cube.

• Robotic arm was used to pick and place the cube to place Education
