Post Master’s Nurse Practitioner with 18years in family practice, managing acute and chronic conditions in patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. I am very autonomous at managing my own practice of patients along with assisting my supervising physician.

SKILLS

Along with being a family nurse practitioner, I have also become proficient in caring for my patients in many of their psychiatric diagnoses. I have treated anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and many other mood disorders. I also am nationally certified by the FMCSA to do CDL physicals for local truck drivers which makes it convenient for our DOT patients. I also make it a priority to keep my patients up to date on all preventative screenings.

To further explain; I was employed all at the same facility, but initially I was hired by Dr. Davidson in private practice and he then sold his practice to Clear-med which was part of Clearfield Hospital, which later became Penn Highlands. During my 8 plus years working beside Dr. Davidson I was blessed to have an amazing mentor to mold me into the Nurse Practitioner I am today. I feel that one of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is to take the time and listen to our patients, a good history can tell us so much.
