a.System study of the water resources of Punjab: Ford Foundation / Punjab Water Resources Directorate - Studies dealing with time series analysis of stream flows; a related study on multi objective optimisation of the system using bottom up methodology.

b.Amritsar City / Bhatinda Water Distribution System Design: World Bank / Punjab Water Supply & Sewerage Board - Design of the water distribution systems for the two cities of Amritsar and Bhatinda. c.Hydrology of Cauvery Basin: Cauvery Technical Committee of Government of Tamil Nadu - Stream flow and rainfall - runoff analyses for all CWC stations in Cauvery River and yield estimation at LCA and Mettur. d.Water Resources of Upper Ganges Canal Command Area: World Bank / UP Irrigation Department - NIH study for groundwater modelling and planning of SW-GW system for a modernisation project. e.Narmada Flood Studies: World Bank / Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nirman Nigam - NIH Study on design flood estimation at Sardar Sarovar and Narmada Sagar.

f.Design of Sharda Nagar Drainage system: Lucknow Development Authority - Hydraulic and Hydrologic Design of a drainage system for a new colony.

g.Establishment of Central Training Unit of Central Water Commission, Government of India: USAID / Consultancy Engineering Services (CES), New Delhi - Participation in planning and conduct of courses of CTC. h.Establishment of Water Resources Centre, Patna University, Patna: USAID / CES - Participation in planning and courses of WRC.

i.Urban Runoff in Developing Countries - Kanpur Subproject: NERC UK / Institute of Hydrology, Wallingford, UK - Establishment of data logger based rain gauges and depth cum doppler velocity meters in two urban watersheds in Kanpur, India at IIT and Jajmau along with digital electromagnetic Current meters for rating the drains; and their use for collection of urban rainfall - runoff data.

j.Application of System Models for Planning and Management of Water Resources, Consultancy Research Project: IWS, Tamil Nadu PWD & World Bank, jointly with Krishnan Associates; Anna University & IIT Madras - Development of Mathematical models for above using Vaigai Basin for the Case Study.
