As a trainee in Emergency Medicine department:
• Identified and treated patients with medical, neurological, endocrine, cardiac, nephrology, oncologic, psychiatric, hematological, pediatric, surgical orthopedic, neuro- surgical, urologic, pediatric- surgical, obstetric and gynecological emergencies.
• Stabilized Airway, Breathing and Circulation in appropriate situations.
• Co-ordinated the Trauma team where a trauma team coordinator does the primary & secondary survey on all the polytrauma patients to find out any occult injury, arrange for blood, FAST USG Scan, radiological investigations, expedite treatment and to call the appropriate unit for the b e t t e r management of the patient and assigns the unit under whom the patient will be admitted either in concerned ICU, Trauma ward or taken for emergency surgery under respective units if need arises.
• Co-ordinate the day-to-day shop-floor management of the department which involves co-ordination between medical, nursing & ancillary medical staff to ensure smooth running of the department.
• Co-ordinated various clinical specialties in the management of patients with multi-system disorders.
• Did adequate documentation of Medico-legal cases.
• Deposition of statement as a skilled witness in court of law.
