• Prime of tablet project

o Full understanding of cGMP requirements, operational GMP, SOP, forms, and quality activities

• Fortification of oatmeal breakfast cereal with flaxseed enhances omega-3 and diary fiber with antioxidant capacity

• The aim of the project was first, to develop a new formulation that contains optimal levels of roasted flaxseed kernel and second, to evaluate chemical and nutritional properties of new formulations needed by HFS. I developed a formulation based on flaxseed such that it improved nutritional and functional properties of oatmeal cereal. To achieve this, different types and percentage values of flaxseed were tested. Also, the chemical properties of flaxseed were measured to evaluate its nutritional values and functionality. and nutritional values of flaxseed, protein, carbohydrates, lipid, fatty acid composition, dietary fiber, moisture and ash/mineral contents were measured. For functionality, antioxidant capacity and phenolic composition were investigated.
