MCAS Coordinator – September 2002 – June 2006
I implemented this new program and designed all program features. I conducted workshops to coordinate academics and vocational studies/skills and reviewed/approved all lesson plans. I ordered supplies, created all paperwork which included timesheets, supply requests, sign-in sheets, schedules, and attendance forms. I acted as dean and handled all discipline issues as well as hosted assemblies. I filed both quantitative and qualitative reports with the Massachusetts Department of Education. At the end of each quarterly session, I organized a “graduation party” with treats and door prizes. This program is still in effect today.
DIMAN REGIONAL VOCATIONAL TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL
MCAS Analysis – September 2002 – June 2003
Using state data from the Massachusetts Department of Education portal, I culled information and results from hundreds of our students’ test answers on record. Based upon results, I determined weaknesses in our curriculum and recommended strategies to improve upon specific content area.
