Developed performance reports evaluating the Primary Care Physicians’ (PCPs) performance in the network. Statistical Methods were used to tier the Providers based on their performance in different domains
Worked with Employer groups to help them understand which members are driving the cost. Several different metrics were calculated like Admission Per Member Per Month (PMPM), Admission Per 1000 members, and Re-Admissions.
Developed Employer Reporting to help Employers understand which chronic diseases are common amongst their members. The reporting also highlighted the Total Per Member Per Month Spend, Referral Rate, and Savings Opportunity
Classification Machine Learning Algorithm was used to predict which members are more likely to cause a high dollar claim in the future. The algorithm was embedded in the RShiny Web App which used Real Time Claims data to classify the members as high cost or low cost Members. The web app was regularly accessed by the Care Navigator team who would then contact those members and educate them. This application helped many employer groups in saving thousands of dollars each month.
Developed an algorithm to incentivize the PCPs based on their performance in different domains (i.e. Quality, Access). RShiny app was developed which allowed user to change the parameters and adjust the PCP incentives.
