Project Management

Manage all phases of a project, i.e., project performance in Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, Planning, Cost, and overall execution. Manage complete financial administration, direction, coordination, engineering performance, procurement, and construction supervision per approved Project Management Plan. Manage project personnel to achieve project objectives. Lead and participate in bid proposals as well as presentations to the client. Promoting a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and success; ensuring compliance to the requirements of the clients' Operating models and procedures. Responsible for development of Project Execution Plan (PEP), Project Scope of Work, proposals for new work, Project Setup, Project Management Plans, Project Closeout and Change Orders. Have full Knowledge and experience in the use of CPM PFA. Page2

scheduling and project controls. In charge of review and approval of project expenditures, budgets, estimates, cost reports, project financial forecasts, and schedules. Clearly and openly communicate with project team members and functional groups. Accountable for ensuring the project team identifies and tracks changes in the scope of work. All changes are to be logged/captured in the Change Management System. Manage the project team, internal and external customer relationships, resource forecasting, and resource loading with competent persons from the functional groups. Prepare accurate and timely project reports and progress metrics in accordance with company and client requirements. Responsible for negotiating with the client all change requests to the project in accordance with established procedures & agreements. Engineering (Electrical, Control & Rotating Machineries): Performed load flow and transient studies, conceptual design of electrical/control systems, protocol/algorithm definitions, logic/loop diagram development, emergency/backup systems up to 12 MVA, industrial & commercial UPS systems, electrical power distributions, power generation

& protection schemes, distribution/transmission substations design up to 750 MVA at 500 kV, medium/long transmission line design, elementary/ladder diagrams development, systems configurations, DCS, PLC, RTU applications, SCADA software development, data acquisition systems, networking, and telemetry. Solid background with AC drives (VFD) up to 30,000 HP (air or water cooled) that includes compressor applications. Pipeline hydraulic studies, pump suction

& discharge calculations, thermal analysis of heat exchangers. Trained and worked with Etap electrical analysis software. Have full knowledge of classified area requirements based on API 500, 540, and IEEE 497. Extensive knowledge & experience with NEC, NESC, IEEE Color Books, NFPA 70E, and ISA standards. Entropic Technologies (June 2018 to present)

Principal Electrical and Control Engineer, Electrical/Mechanical Project Manager Designed and managed the construction of a 2-100 MVA substation to feed 2-40 MVA Klystrons and auxiliary loads for the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in the Mojave Desert, California.

In charge of the design and specification development of the third phase of an estimated $600-mil crude oil pipeline for Tesoro Logistics – the pipeline was 135 miles, pressurized at 1,800 psi and heat traced by 5 kV, skin-effect technology (phase 4 of the project was canceled due to drop in oil prices). In charge of the design review & execution of 4 crude oil pumping stations with storage facilities in Colorado & North Dakota.

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (2015 - 2018)

Principal Electrical Engineer/Subject Matter Expert Engineering design supervision of a $400 mil Electrical and EMS infrastructure program for the Chevron Richmond Refinery. Program included 115/12 kV distribution systems, FCC plant upgrade with 350 MW loads (12kV, 2.4kV & 480V), product delivery pump station with 23 pumps

(250 to1750 HP) and Isomax plant upgrade.

Project Manager responsible for the Phases II & III of a new $200-million LPG Plant of the Phillips 66 at the Rodeo Refinery in Northern California. Project Manager & Lead Electrical/Control Engineer responsible for overall project management and electrical/control engineering design and procurement of a 15,000 hp compressor motor, 12.47kv VFD with a 17 MVA isolation transformer, 12.47kv switchgear, 480V MCC, UPS system, and a new power distribution center for the FCC compressor of the Chevron Hawaii Refinery. Electrical/Control Lead for 12 expansions and upgrade projects for the Tesoro Salt Lake City Refinery. Projects included Ultra Former, FCC, DDU, VRU, CO Boiler, NESHAP Benzene, De- wax, Crude, TGU, and Offloading facilities.

AREVA Canada, Inc. (2006 – 2015)

This includes specifications, complete design of medium/high voltage switchgear; rigid & string busses, overhead/underground incoming lines & getaways, grounding studies & design, protective relay selection/control schemes, and construction supervision.

Chief Engineer in charge of 14 hydro & fossil-fueled power generating stations’ modernization

& upgrades at 230 kV.
