ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspection of assembled valves and to provide corrective actions against any deviation identified. Witnessing

functional & production testing of assembled valves such as Hydro, Air, Leak Test, etc., as well as special requirement

tests as per customer spec.

Preparing offer list, & QC documents of valves as per approved ITP / QAP & to co-ordinate stage, final inspection of

valves to customers / TPI, to acquire IRC / IRN for clearance to dispatch valves.

To prepare and perform NDT Tests (UT, MPT, RT, PT) on valve components at in-house, vendor end and customer site

as per approved procedures & document all relevant data of tests performed.

Performing dimensional analysis / measurement using inspection tools on m\c components..

Conducting audits at foundries, vendors & sub-vendors to control and monitor QC activities.

Inspection of fabricated valves, weld joints, seat overlays as per specifications.

To conduct RCA against customer complaints / NCR's, thorough investigation and examination and also by

conducting site / vendor visits to identify the problems & issues.

Posting the completion of work after each and every dispatch by confirming with the requirement plan.

Visual Inspection & DFT checking after painting as per PPS.

Health and Safety Environment role:

Having good Technical knowledge & Trained with the capability of problem solving technique.

Can provide Engineering control for the risk activity based on the working procedure.

Preparing & submitting the preventive break down and corrective maintenance, based on the analyzed report.
