Integrated Life System (Life400) Integration with Peripheral system –

I was working as offshore lead with UK team for integration project in AmMetlife client. In this client they have created system structure for both inbound and well as outbound call. They have many peripheral system as Product Express (PX), PMACS, ODS and front end system as Ieasy and bancapos etc.

We have used/setup MSP (Midrange Service Processor) for this uses which work same as MQ for send data to and fro from different system. We have created a common copybook for request and one copybook for response.

For premium calculation/claim/surrender/maturity/Benefit billing process calculation been externalized to peripheral system so we created inbound structure which will have several small subroutine to extract all related data like client/cover/life assure/extra details. All data will fill in common inbound copybook and then convert it to XML.

We have used XSLT to external validation and carrier for XML which will use web services to transfer data from IL to product express. We will get the output/response in same manner which will again convert from XML and fill in copybook and using program will either store in files or display on screen.

We have used Eclipse tools and installed to check on request and response call data.

In same manner we have created the structure for PMACS(used for agency system) and ODS( reporting system).

We have setup a separate subsystem called PAXMSP and all the inbound/outbound job will run and handle under this, we have also setup a separate WAS profile for this.

Same structure been used for all front end system to send data and we will use BO program to process it for appropriate screen programs.

Current Project - I am currently working with Prudential Indonesia as an independent contributor/Senior Application analyst to solve Complex product issue as well as enhancements required.

Description

Humana Inc uses AS400 in order to validate and process customer Insurance policy claims and reconciliation with the Bank. They have T-Recs System (Total Reconciliation Solution) to validate the data.

The data is feed by Humana system to T-Recs in the form of EFT and checks. Now T-Recs compares the data from the Bank and from the Humana System. If there is any miss match, then it throws an error. If the customer does not claim the check within the valid period, those unclaimed checks are feed into UPCS (Unclaimed Property Control System). UPCS maintains a record of all the Void and Escheat data. TCS is responsible to provide Development and Maintenance activities for the entire system.
