The piping role:

Responsible for managing and executing the plants & Export Pipeline and Gathering system construction works

for the Project.

responsible for oversight and management of the plants & Pipelines and Gathering system contractor/ subcontractors' site activities

Ensure that contractor & subcontractor compliance with the planning, and project control systems consistent with the requirements of project policies. And insuring that the contractor/subcontractor executes the work in accordance with the quality standards and requirements specified for the project.

Play an active role in the safety culture on the project, making safety a natural part of all work performed.

Participation in the implementation and execution of the overall site SSHE program, ensuring that the work is performed safe, without environmental impact, and addresses the health and well-being of all personnel at site. This will include remaining up to date and knowledgeable of safety policies and procedures as site conditions or scope change.

Manage entire pipelines and plants scope contract and participates in the development of the contracting strategy, and contractor selection.

Assist contractor & subcontractor in pre-construction planning and procurement activities.

Control change/scope creep, ensuring that all scope changes are quickly and properly documented, communicated to engineering and the managers, and that change orders are approved prior to the performance of the work.

Ensures contractor & subcontractor compliance with the project controls reporting system. Reviews and recommends for approval items that constitute an increase or decrease in schedule or cost and deviation notices and change orders, as required.

Provide input for the development of project schedules in cooperation with the construction engineers and planners.

Assess project requirements, monitor work and insure that contractor and subcontractor's quality plan is in compliance with the approved project quality plan.

Establish and maintains communications to ensure the accurate and timely flow of information to and from site in accordance with the project procedures.

Advises Site Manager regarding developments or issues that could affect schedule, costs, client relation ect.

The HSE Role:

Manage, plan, develop and implement HSE-Operating Systems. Manage the HSE functions and provide support to the entire base .Ensure that the group HSE.

Requirements are clearly communicated to the region and audited. Ensure compliance with regulations. Supervise and mentor engineers, provide coaching.

Responsible for the HSE management system and development.

Drive the performance of Group and Business area and HSE strategies.

Develop, coordinate and direct the implementation of HSE programs and processes tailored for the business unit.

Provide competent advice and guidance to line management to ensure Statutory and Contractual compliance obligations are met.

Develop and monitor business unit regional HSE annual plans, ensuring these also reflect Business Area and Group plans.

Devise and implement strategies and programs to develop a safer culture where all employees are fully engaged in pro-active incident prevention activities with focus on employee’s behaviors.

Provide support to the companies tendering processes regarding HSE.

Promote Solutions and HSE Management System ensuring work is carried out safely. Interface directly with all HSE matters.

Advise line management of any legislative requirements and make any recommendations necessary.

work closely with the local statutory bodies (Ministry of Labour, Fire brigade, Assurance company etc) to ensure compliance and updated sites knowledge on OSH related issues e.g. Annual Factory & Machine Inspection (such as for lifting equipment and pressurized equipment).

Identify, monitor and maintain safety training requirements and make any recommendations necessary.

Coordinate with other disciplines and the management team to fulfill HSE requirement.

Assist in development of Job Hazard Analysis, Risk Assessment, Safe Operating Procedures and Work Instruction.

Disseminate information, lessons learnt and promote safety awareness to all employee and subcontractor.

Participate and advise in investigations of accident, incidents, near miss and hazardous conditions. Be responsible for ensuring all external and internal Incident and performance reporting requirements are fulfilled

Consolidate and analyze Work Safe submission for identification of Unsafe Acts and Conditions. Promote and rollout behavior based safety program.

Develop and monitor HSE program e.g. HSE campaign, HSE Day.

Coordinate the development of emergency exercises. Formulate a matrix to cover relevant scenarios which covers the companies proposed work scope.

Prepare HSE weekly/monthly performance and statistic reports. Monitor performance of HSE and communicate monthly performance report to the operations and HSE line management.

Develop, monitor and evaluate subcontractor HSE Performance and plan for improvement.

Develop and monitor HSE leading indicator as per company Solutions HSE KPI Targets.

Carry out routine site inspection and pre start work HSE requirement verification.

Deliver HSE related training on required regulatory, corporate and site-specific topics.
