Objective:

To obtain an engineering or supervisorial position which will benefit from my leadership and management skills as well as my ability to creatively solve problems to produce mechanical and plumbing design drawings for fabrication or construction.

Education:

2014 - Wilkes University - Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering

Skills and Related Experience:

[12+] years of professional mechanical design experience with and knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoCAD MEP, Revit, and Microsoft Word, Teams, Outlook, & Excel

Basic to intermediate metal working experience, including lathes, drill presses, bench grinders, plasma cutters, band saws, Mig welders, and milling machines

Operated and maintained engineering equipment such as rapid prototyping machines, micro-fluidics pumps, wire coating machines, Instron tensile testers, and others at Wilkes University

Created basic custom Revit families based on skills learned from ProE and other 3D fabrication software

Basic to intermediate metal working experience, including (but not limited to) lathes, drill presses, bench grinders, plasma cutters, band saws, MIG welders, and milling machines

Designed HVAC and plumbing (and occasionally fire protection) systems for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings including office buildings, warehouses (for major shipping companies and other FLEX buildings), primary & secondary education, assisted living facilities, automotive repair facilities & dealerships, restaurant and food preparation kitchens, modular buildings, healthcare facilities, and hospitals & related spaces under FGI guidelines including operating rooms

Performed hundreds of on-site surveys, meetings, and field visits as part of design, inspection, and problem-solving liaison

Acted as project manager on approximately 20 projects overseeing estimated contractual hours versus production and quality, profit margin, and client financial obligations

Acted as company quality control manager reviewing coworker projects for code-compliance, accuracy, quality, and efficiency of effort

Interfaced with contractors, architects, building owners and developers, and other engineers to develop comprehensive and coordinated designs or to resolve field issues

Oversaw completion of projects from schematic design phase through completion of construction and commissioning, including weekly on-site construction meetings
