• Maintain open communication with conservators, family, service coordinators, and/or other client representatives/advocates regarding client health, well-being, and quality of life

• Act as first responder in the field to emergencies and report special incidents according to applicable laws and regulations

• 24 hours on call response, as applicable

• Performs other related duties and assignments as required

• Strong background in operational and financial management with proven success creating and executing strategies and plans that will increase overall business performance, census, and positive business outcomes.

• Ensures Regulatory and Policy Compliance.

• Develop and maintain written policies and procedures and professional standards of practice that govern the operation of the facility.

• Make routine inspections of the facility to assure that established policies and procedures are being implemented and followed.

• Participate in state/federal surveys of the facility.

• Cultivates and maintains a positive relationship with residents through regular individual and group interaction, regular and routine rounding within the community showing a high level of visibility and attending and leading resident meetings and functions.

• Maintain a good public relations program that serves the best interest of the facility and community alike.

• Conduct community awareness programs as necessary to keep the community informed of the facility’s programs, services, activities, etc.

• Serve on various committees of the facility (i.e., Infection Control, Quality Assurance & Assessment, etc.) and provide written/oral reports of such committee meetings to the governing board as directed or as may become necessary.

• Assist in the recruitment and selection of competent department directors, supervisors, facility non-licensed staff, consultants, etc.
