EXPERIENCE

Over ** years of combined experience as a Civil Designer, Mapping Designer and Environmental Design-drafting. In my Civil design roles, I have been directly involved in the preparation of civil designs plans (Plan and Profile, Overall Layouts, Exhibits) for land and site development projects for various municipal and private agencies. In my Mapping Designer roles, I have been directly responsible in the preparation of design plans (Alignment sheets, Permits, Plats, Surveys) for both Crude and Natural gas pipelines. In my Environmental drafting role, I was responsible for preparing maps (Soil Concentration maps, Ground Water maps, Contamination level maps) for a wide variety of clients in both the public and private sector. I also have experience in Land Surveying and have mentored and trained entry to mid-level CAD personnel. I am proficient in AutoCad and AutoCad Civil 3D up through release 2021. I have a good working knowledge of ArcGIS. I am a team player, an eager learner and am always ready for new challenges.

Designer responsible for preparation of civil design plans (plan and profile drawings, Water and Wastewater treatment plants, site plans, layouts, etc.) for various Municipal and Private clients, land development and site development projects. I have also tutored and mentored Jr Technicians.

Designer responsible for importing As-Built field information needed to update design plans such as Alignment sheets (Plan and Profile), Property Plats, and Road Permits. Updated design plans from IFC (Issued For Construction) to As-Built plans.

Gulf Interstates Engineering: July 2013 to July 2015

Work experience:

Principal Designer responsible for the input and updates of the Permanent ROW, Temporary Work space and Additional Temporary Work Space for the entire Florida Portion of the 500 mile route. Other responsibilities include assisting the Design Lead with the tracking of Road and Rail Road Permits, distribution and assignment of work to my assigned team, coordinating with surveyor for weekly update of field information, and coordinating with GIS department and provide them weekly route update and information to upload to the internet viewer for the client.

Further responsibilities include creating and updating Road Permits, Railroad Permits, Wetland Permits and Waterbody Permits, Route Map and Alignment sheet updates.

Pipeline Engineering Solutions, Inc.: August 2012 to June 2013 (Contract Position) –

Work experience:

Senior Designer responsible for coordinating with surveyor to obtain all base and field information needed to prepare various types of design plans such as Alignment sheets, Plan and Profile sheets and Horizontal Directional Drills (HDD). Other responsibilities include the preparation of As-built drawings based on the field survey information and ArcGIS shape files, coordinating with the Texas Rail Road Commission to provide them with information pertinent to their scope of work.

Work experience:

Designer responsible for preparing permit and exhibit drawings for submittal to environmental agency. Directly responsible for preparing Soil Erosion-Sediment control exhibits and plans as well as various other land use exhibits and Hydrostatic Testing drawings.

Assistant Design Lead responsible for overseeing a team of four mappers and instructing them in the preparation of Alignment sheets, and various permits drawings.
