My name is Jacqueline Serrano, I am search of a new opportunity’s. I have 10-year experience in the hospitality industry. Always striving to do the best in everything I do. One of my instructors, told me “Don’t take shortcuts. If you take them now, you will be taking then the rest of your life (chef joseph DePaola, The Culinary Institute of America)”. I have lived by this quote ever since. At culinary school the term mise in place. Meaning putting in place or gathering, was drilled into the students. To be successful one needs to have all the ingredients to set yourself up for success. I am self-driven and a fast learner and always looking for more. I am ready to take the next jump in my life and looking for new doors to open. I will bring in my 10 years’ experience in the hospitality industry including excellent person to person skills, organization skills, fast and stressful pace work, and good communication skills in English and Spanish.
