Steamfitter Journeyman/Foreman

● Worked on many projects in San Diego with AMC Mechanical, and Jackson & Blanc, as well as out of multiple United Association Local halls throughout the country. Role consists of reading construction plans and working on them as the system specifies.

● Role has included the opportunity to instruct, work with and learn from other Journeymen, and apprentice on the jobsite. Always expanding my knowledge in an attempt to learn and grow in my career.

● While working in the field, I have been assigned the job of crew foreman leading Journeymen and women on multi-billion-dollar projects assuring the job was done right, on time and within budget.

● Maintained time keeping for the contractor and employees as well as ordering tools and material. Scheduled training for my crew to ensure they were able to meet the requirements needed to gain access to jobsite and work areas.

● Worked in the capacity of a Union Apprentice on numerous projects with local construction contractors Jackson & Blanc, Kiewit Shea, Kiewit Power, University Mechanical, South West contractors, ACCO mechanical, and ARB construction in a shop, commercial setting and industrial scale. Assisted my Journeyman on job tasks related to the fabrication, assembly, repair and installation of mechanical piping systems.

● While working full time as an Apprentice, attended a high intensity 5-year Union Pipe Trades School to further my education and knowledge for the trade and career. Maintained solid grades throughout my apprenticeship adhering to the strict code of conduct and values expected of a United Association Apprentice.
