Ironworker Welder, July 2016 - Present

Proffecient in skilled welding and ironworker duties. Using a built to design nuclear work package, we construct appropiate filler material for structural welding phases of the nuclear power plant. I briefly was a detailed foreman for 3 weeks. My weld processses are FCAW( flux cored arc welding) and SMAW( shield welded arc welding). To ensure our welds are to standard, we have to use our different weld gauges and calipers. The welds are done in various positions for quality control inspections. The testings are for non destructive test using requirements as visual inspections, magnetic particle inspections and or ultrasonic inspections. Welds are done at various heights with full body harnesses, Safety Retraction Lanyards(SRL) and lanyards.
