Aug. 1994- July 2001 worked for Community Action Council as an Assistant Teacher in the Headstart Classroom-working with children ages 0-4 during the school year and school age children in summer. Assisting young children with daily learning skills.

Attended the Child Development student Conference sponsored by Fayette County Child Development High School Teachers and attended workshops on “Creative Intelligences of Children”, “The Art of Storytelling”, “Hands-On Art”, and “Music and Movement”.
Successfully completed a two-hour, one year long course at Henry Clay High School called Child Development Careers where I studied how to teach Circle Time, Language Arts, Math, Stories, Follow-up for stories, Art, Games, and Music and Movement.
