Turnek roo ng — commercial and residential roofer

local 167 ironworkers union — union ironworker

storm chaser — sub contractor

EDUCATION

portage high — high school diploma

05/2006 to 05/2012, Gary Indiana

Replaced old roofs by installing new ones we did commercial and residential roofs all over northwest Indiana I was one of the top two leads and was responsible for tearing off and installing the roof and sometimes having to replace the bad plywood with new plywood. My job required using a nail gun a hammer and pry bar all of the time. I also had to drive a commercial dump truck during times we needed it for certain jobs. 08/2012 to 08/2017, Memphis Tennessee

We built buildings elevators and also reinforced buildings to make them stronger. My job required the use of a harness for protection and a lot of different tools some being a spud wrench clamps impacts and grinders. I also had to use forklifts a lot Ariel lifts and scissor lifts. I connected, wielded used a torch for cutting steel and a grinder to clean it up. 05/2018 to Present, crown point Indiana

I opened up a company in 2018 to be able to work under another company at the time by the name of Laddernow which would contract work out to me that required me to be available to work across 48 states out of 50 each night I would receive an email that had the address of each job I had to complete the next day. So the next day I would drive to each job and I would inspect the property of the business or home affected by a storm which included inspecting the building structure and any damage done to it on the outside and inside along with the roof which in most cases are tall steep and cut up. I then nished up my report by uploading and emailing it to the adjuster on le for the case that would then take the case from there and decide what would be replaced and paid for but for the last couple of years I’ve been on the other side working as a public adjuster which does the same job but represents the insured instead of the insurance company which I would negotiate with and try to get to pay for damages done by storms within a years time of being done.then if In Illinois only I would manage the job until being completed by the company that we contract the work out too. 08/2005 to 05/2006
