As an employee at Lins Grand Bu et,, I was experienced to do a variety of tasks. My responsibilities were to have my section ready for every customer that got sat at the section I was assigned to. My responsibilities as a hostess while working for a mexican restaurant trainer included making sure all of the customers were taken care of as soon as they walked through the door, so I made sure to seat them as soon as I asked how many guest in their party. Specifically getting their drinks and chips in salads to start o while they looked at the menu. If they had any questions I would answer them to the best of my ability and if I didn’t know anything, I’d ask the boss. Responsibilities also included bussing tables, collecting tips and putting them in the bucket we had for it, making sure to clean the bathroom and having everything set for the morning, for example salsas to go, lemons for the salas or iced teas. My responsibilities as a server at Villa Hermosa are to keep the section we are assigned clean and bussed at all times. Making sure we were checking up on the table after two minute two bite. At the start of shifts we are assigned a specific section and after we get assigned that specific section, it is time to cover the person that was there in the morning. At first, residents get their drinks and appetizers like a soup, salad, coleslaw, fresh fruit and or cottage cheese then they get their main entree which comes with an entree and two sides and if more, they could get more if they like to. At the end of their meal, I'm responsible to get their dessert ready either to eat in the dining area or to take home. At the end of the night, the section we were in we have a specific side work and responsible to finish our side work before getting checked out.
