I was working as an SAP ISU consultant in Wipro and have completed the following projects throughout the tenure of Oct 2007 – Feb 2013.
SAP IS-U consultant for Origin Energy Australia
Project - Origin Retail Transformation
Project Duration: Sep 2009 – Oct 2011
Place: Melbourne Australia
Project Description:
Origin Retail Transformation was one of Wipro’s largest and prestigious SAP Transformation project. The project involved migration of 3million supply points from various Legacy application (i.e. CIS for Electricity sites, Mainframes for Gas sites, MSAT for market data related to industry communication and MDH for meter reading data) into a unified SAP-ISU/SAP-CRM platform. This was one of the largest SAP-ISU Implementations in the southern hemisphere.
Responsibilities:
I was part of the data migration team of the RT program starting from early days of Blueprint phase. My contributions include the following:
Analysis of requirements during the Blueprint phase
Preparation of Functional Specifications and Technical Specifications for the SAP Upload programs (ISMW - EMIGALL)

Project - Origin Project – SLAMDUNK
Project Duration: Nov 2011 – March 2012
Place: Melbourne Australia
Project Description:
Retail Transformation Data Migration project for Origin Energy - This project was initiated to migrate an additional 350,000 supply points into the recently implemented SAP-ISU/CRM system.
A 4th release on Retail Transformation was required due to the data quality issues that were existing in Legacy systems that prevented migration of these 350,000 supply points.
Responsibilities:
The overall solution required a number of changes to the migration rules. I have contributed immensely to design the data upload strategy for the changed migration rules. A number of changes were required on the SAP Migration (EMIGALL) objects to cater for the new changes. Most of the changes were required in order to address inconsistent data existing in Legacy, which required highly complex changes to be made to the Migration programs to ensure absolute data integrity in SAP-ISU and SAP CRM. My contributions include
Analysis of the data quality issues and making adaptive changes to the migration programs.
Specific focus on migration of Bulk Hot Water supply points owned by Origin Energy. The BHW sites have been a cause of concern during the previous migration cycles (Retail Transformation) due to very poor data quality in Legacy system. I ensured that a number of these issues were addressed in the migration rules. As a result, we achieved a 99% migration success for the BHW sites.
I also identified ways to remediate the partially migrated data during this release. The partial loads too were a result of the poor data quality in Legacy systems. After the R4 migration, I was leading the team to remediate the partial loads, which accounted about 20,000 sites. All these sites were remediated successfully within the stipulated time. I was the main point of contact with the customers on all the communication related to the remediation of the partial loads.
Release 4 had still left about 10,000 sites in Legacy system due to extremely poor quality of data in Legacy applications. This required an additional exercise to migrate the data manually. I provided assistance to this exercise by writing new programs to automate a number of processes, which helped in speeding up the Manual migration.
I was also instrumental in addressing the production issues raised on the migrated data during the Post Implementation Support period of Project Slam-dunk.

Responsibilities:

I am leading the SAP ISU technical team and contributed immensely to design the data upload strategy for the changed migration rules. A number of changes were required on the SAP Migration (EMIGALL) objects to cater for the new changes.
