EXPERIENCE
Blazer Tag Adventure Center, Location — Party Coach
April 2016 - June 2017
With being a party coach I had to balance multiple responsibilities at once while maintaining a calm and happy attitude towards the parents and children. I had to act as a hostess, waitress, janitor, and be responsible for watching the kids, and ending with the person taking care of their bill. It taught me to remain calm in intense situations especially when the customer is rude or the kids are not behaving, it showed me how to be in control in those situations while still keeping great customer service and having the customers leave with a happy experience with the time they had at the facility.

As an event coordinator, my job was to book birthday parties and big corporate events while upselling our packages in a way that would make the customers happy and the company more profitable. I also worked a lot with computers filing information and working with excel to create spreadsheets for the company in order to stay organized.

George P. Johnson, 11109 Metric Blvd Austin, TX 78758 — Customer Service/ Call Center Rep/ IT specialist
October 2020 - Present
Working at GPJ has given me such a deeper insight into helping and connecting with people online. The time I started working for them was when we were hit with the pandemic and they graciously offered me multiple at-home positions. I got to dabble in a bunch of different programs and work with amazing companies such as Google, Gartner, NetApp, DreamForce, Microsoft Adobe, and many more. I was able to register people for conferences, help with technical difficulties, and point people in the right direction when they needed other assistance. The company is a very homey place that has helped me improve immensely with job expertise.
Gartner, remote from home — Customer Service/ Call Center Rep/ IT specialist/
February 2021 - Present
Gartner is a branch within GPJ that I was given the opportunity to be promoted to and take in a bigger role in responsibilities. As a Gartner employee, job tasks in my everyday shift include registering individuals, CEO’s, and companies for conferences they need to take in order to achieve promotional advancement. I am also tasked with assisting the customers in booking their hotel rooms. I work the overnight 12am-9am shift so I am mainly in contact with people from the UK, India, Japan, Italy, and Australia. I work two major email inboxes as well as supervise the online live chat and phone systems. I’ve learned many leadership qualities within this new role and have been trained to multitask and learn perfect customer service.

On Tuesdays, I would volunteer my time at the nursing home talking to the residents and helping out with the activities.
